Varsity Girls Volleyball Golden Again!

On February 22, your senior girls volleyball team took on South Carleton in the Copper division finals. They have worked hard all season to get to this point, and they would see their toughest opponent yet! Our girls came out strong in the first set to take an early lead 1 set to 0. After a rocky second set- we don’t talk about the second set. The score is now 1-1. The game went back and forth with many long rallies until, once again, tied at 2 sets to 2, we reached the 5th and final set. This would now be the Panther’s 7th game going into the 5th set. With an all too familiar scenario in front of the girls, they were destined not to repeat history with a 5th set loss as 5 of the previous games had. The girls had motivation, and gold in their sights, they didn’t stop until the final score reached 15-7 for your senior girls volleyball team. This game was a true team win with contributions made by all. Thank you to our graduating seniors, some of which were members of the outstanding senior girls basketball team.
