Dear Panthers,
It is with a renewed sense of hope and optimism that I enter my third year as principal of Osgoode Township High School. What all Panthers have faced since March 2020 has been very challenging but I am very proud of the way everyone stepped up to address the issues head on. The determination and resilience demonstrated by all students and staff was commendable and I appreciate everyone's efforts to support each other. That sense of community is certainly a defining characteristic of our great little school.
I am very much looking forward to a return to some sort of normalcy this year. Covid-19 is not gone but I believe we have emerged in a positive manner and I’m hopeful that our students can enjoy a more genuine high school experience this year. On a personal note, I am looking forward to returning to coaching rugby sevens in the fall. Along the same lines, I hope all Panthers will take advantage of the myriad opportunities this school has to offer. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school at 613-821-2241.
Yours,
Richard King
Proud Principal
