Each year, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Student Recognition Awards celebrate excellence in student leadership. Students are chosen by their principals and vice-principals for their demonstration of initiative, supported by the will to succeed, the dedication to finish what they started, and the commitment to achieve their personal best.

Callia B. is a dedicated, hard-working student who leads by example both at Osgoode Township High School and across the District. Not only is she an OCDSB Student Senator and Student Council Co-President, but she has also supported and mentored grade 9 students and fellow student leaders through her involvement in LINK Crew and has shown incredible initiative throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to keep students engaged and connected. Callia is a positive influence who leads with compassion, and who is dedicated to making Osgoode Township High School and its community better. Her contributions to the school are incredible, and her achievements have had a profound and positive impact on students, staff and the community!
